Jon has worked in the private wealth sector since 1990 and previously held positions at Barclays Bank and Chase Manhattan Bank.
In 1991, he was invited to become a Founder Partner of the J. Rothschild Partnership (now known as St. James's Place) and he was eventually to join the company in March 1993. In recognition of Jon’s considerable contribution to the success of St. James's Place, the board saw fit to appoint Farrier Rose Wealth Management as a Principal Partner Practice in 2021.
Jon holds Chartered status through the CII, which is the profession’s gold standard for financial planners. Through further study and the achievement of additional professional qualifications in 2023, he was invited to be a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
